Designing a Wardrobe That Expresses Your Nature

  Can your wardrobe help you relate more effectively with others?


    This post is a sequel to last week's post, referring back to "Energy Profiling," as presented by Carol Tuttle. In addition to her Energy Profiling courses and information, she also offers "Dressing Your Truth" courses and information, offering a variety of products and lines to help you dress "true" to your energy profile. Color palettes,  fabric textures, designs, metal chroma suggestions for jewelry for your type, make-up lines, and more, are discussed. The idea is that these fashion details and accessories can help express your true nature and allow your natural talents and gifts to be more clearly perceived, and more readily received, by others. 

      I find it interesting food for thought that, for example, a Type 1 (light, buoyant energy type) might be more readily perceived as "a breath of fresh air" or an "idea person" when dressing her truth with clothing and jewelry depicting her energy type of upward, light movement than were she to dress in more bold, still, designs. 
     This is a gross oversimplification on my part in this example. Yet, perhaps you can imagine with me how the details of what we wear may enhance our natural qualities and gifts, or present the world with strange incongruities that may cause us to be perceived contrary to our true nature, or less effectively than we might desire.
      Dressing your truth is not fashion and beauty in the heretofore traditional sense. Still, it has something valuable to offer men and women of all ages, I believe, if it can help us embrace a lifestyle where we can more accurately embrace our natural energy types, and more effectively express our true natures to the world.
